High output moving coil that can be ran into a moving magnet phono stage. 200 hours of use on this cartridge. Had it inspected by my retipper who cleaned the cartridge, adjusted the damper, and inspected the diamond. No significant wear on the stylus. this is a current product from Sumiko. A nice even sounding cartridge. I know a few owners who consider it a working man's Sumiko Blackbird. When it does need retipping send it to Soundsmith for the ruby cantilever and line contact stylus and you do get a cartridge very close to a Blackbird....if not better.
