Driving home from White Plains, NY, detoured thru Princeton, NJ to do some shopping at PREX, much easier at 10am on a Thurs as no crowds, yet really couldn't find anything that piqued my interest.

2 Blue Note double album anthologies, I've been looking for Dexter Gordon's work on BN from the early 60's, and this compilation draws from 5 albums from that period.
Grabbed kdlang as I love her voice, but don't know this album. Still, for $1.99 NM copy, figured I couldn't go wrong.

Found some real nice albums at two different thrifts this last week in very good condition. You gotta love those thrifts!  :)

Procol Harum, s/t; Deram - $1.59

Unfortunately, the Procol is likely reprocessed mono-into-stereo.

I'm in Santa Fe on business and found these in a couple of local stores. The Rhino British Invasion vol 2 & 3 are "still sealed." Steely Dan Greatest Hits is a mint Robert Ludwig mastered double album (highly praised by Michael Fremer). Something New is a U.S. 1st issue mono. DC5 is a mint condition mono. REO is 1/2 speed mastered.

Found this Beatles record from 1982 at a thrift for 99 cent the other day. Still in shrink wrap in unplayed condition. These recordings were made on a portable machine, so the sound quality will be somewhat mediocre.  Contains material from when the boys played at the Star Club in Hamburg, Germany in '62.  Cheap thrills.  :green:

I also found this 3 album box compilation entitled "The Bass" on Impulse from '73 at a thrift last week in unplayed condition for 1.99.
