The idea for these is to have them sit on a desk with the computer monitor between them.

Two OB 3-8" servo columns would be on either side of the desk.

The overall use plan is for HiRez monitors for recording and mixing.
...
Soooo... you could just send those to DPD's or my house for "field testing" ;-)

DPD is getting a DSP unit to try in his setup once they are completed.

These might come out as well with me for demo's.  Need to get them running and see.

Let me know when you plan to visit. I'm only an hour away from his place.

No plan for a free standing speaker.  That would be the Serenity speakers that Danny is working on.

Man do I wish recording engineers would use better monitors. Unless you've been in a studio, you have no idea how bad the speakers are. Yamaha NS-10's, Auratone's, ancient Altec "Voice of the Theater" 2-way woofer/horn built into walls. And worse!

Why do you think I am designing these!  First person hopefully going to try them besides me is a recording engineer I know.   :D

Ok, lets get Tyson's thread back on track.

I will start another thread if folks are interested.   I just posted it here since Danny brought up the project.
