Indeed. He influenced modern music as much as anyone. A visionary and gentle man.
Apparently he had lost his hearing late in life. That must have been quite a loss considering that music was his life.

He was involved in so many projects over the years.  A reporter this morning was saying over 700 albums done. 

With the musicians already up in heaven, he'll be right at home.

His legacy includes The Goon Show from the 1950's, I was surprised to learn a few years ago. The sound on those is excellent with foley sounds way ahead of their time.

2016 hasn't been kind to musicians. The only one that's virtually a "lock" to survive is Keith Richards.
