sensation with klipsch
« on: 13 Feb 2011, 02:44 am »
I have just bought a pair of klipsch rf7 to replace my kef Q7.
A lot of people says that klipsch are good only with a tube ampli because they are too much sharp and dry for a transistor sound.

that’s true, perhaps, for most of other transistors ampli,  but they should  try them with a sensation: I’m listening rf7 with my sensation 901 and sound is simply great  and faster and clearer then a tube ampli. I’m listening also baroque music (strings and harpsichord)  and sound is very sweet and warm. live rock concert are very impressive, for example in unplugged of eric clapton  you can clearly hear a deep rumble of wooden stage because someone brings the time with feet: not only on the rf7’s woofer, but also on the special clarity of sensation’s bass.
Just the female voices needs something  more (buffer tube) to sound better then a tube ampli.
my system is:  nad 545bee cd player, nirvana signal cable, yaqin tube buffer, sensation m901, battery power, cheap monster power cable and klipsch rf7.
