The tree looks wonderful and I see the bad boy JBL's in the pic. Thinking the tree lighting is a great ambiance for music listening. My heart goes out to you on the loss of your dear Hector. We lost a dog about three yrs ago and I think about him everyday. I have his picture as my screen saver. When we had to put him down I posted the following  from my 26 yo daughter  so I'll re-post to try and offer some solstice albeit delayed. No shopping done yet for Christmas and wish you and the Lady a wonderful Christmas.

“A person can learn a lot from a dog. They teach us about living each day with unbridled exuberance and joy, about seizing the moment and following your heart. They teach us to appreciate the simple things-a walk in the woods, a fresh snowfall, a nap in a shaft of winter sunlight. And as they grow old and achy, they teach us about optimism in the face of adversity. Mostly, they teach about friendship and selflessness and, above all else, unwavering loyalty.”

Let your heart be joyful . Best wishes
