Yes, USB input standard, along with lotsa coax and optical ports too.

The prototype is all solid state, but a tube version could be possible if it provides any sonic advantage.

Semi-unrelated: Frank, recently you were asking about Dr. Mark Waldrep's blog... He's listed as an exhibitor and gives a very informative presentation on hi-res (and pseudo-hi-res) audio at most of the shows he exhibits at. Tear yourself away for an hour or so if you can; I think you'd enjoy it. You are two truth talkers in a sea of smoke and mirrors. Regardless, have a great show and try not to do any structural damage to the venue with the mono blocks.
