No highs with ortofon blue mc

Installed. Ortofon Blue on VPI Aries Scout it has been used about 20 hrs the amp is a Parasound halo 2.1 integrated my problem is the nice highs i had with prior Blue Point  have disappeared, cymbals and such are very faint do I need a phono pre besides the on in my integrated or a sut.

It has been a while since I had a TT, but that sounds like the VTA is off to me. Check the angle, and see if that makes a difference.

Thanks It looked okay on VPI jig but I will recheck it.
