The young kids are getting a Wii U for Xmas.  My son is 6 and he will really like what the Wii U has to offer.  They don't really care about graphics as his favorite game is currently MindCraft.... lol   I'll let everyone know how it works out after the new year.  Mario 3 D is supposed to be pretty cool.

Minecraft is a wonderful game for building and using building blocks for creating.  I hope you and he have a lot of fun.

My son is 6 yrs old too. We often play Mario Chase. Fun game for the whole family to enjoy. Of course, mario 3D and other games are excellent too.
