Title: New-Old system...Very satisfying!!!
Post by: Whitese on 10 Jan 2018, 02:48 am
Telefunken S81, which has the mods as listed here:
TC: Telefunken S81 S82 S80 integrated tube amp - www.tube-classics.de  (http://'http://www.tube-classics.de/TC/GermanTubeHifi/Integamps/Telefunken%20S81/S81.htm')

My amp is driving some also made in Germany Clearaudio Delta monitors...Great combo...Not about volume, but the Lute music comes out beautifully...Next I will sell something so I can try some Fostex or Omega or Diatone full range monitors..(or Audio Nirvana or Lowther, etc...)

Very cool, I have never seen one.  Looks like it has el-84's?

I couldn't get your link to work, is this it?

Also, how was the 50Hz power supply modified (assuming you have 120v/60Hz).  Just curious if I ever have a shot at getting one of these.  :D

The 50Hz cycling rarely is a prob w/tube amps.
