Sony SAL70300G 70-300mm F4.5-5.6 G SSM - Excited about this new Pro Series Lens!

....

Hey!

I like the pic of hay bales  :D

Congratulation on your new zoom lens and not just any lens but a "G" series  8) For people who don't know, the Sony "G" series is a carry over from Minolta's line. I'm a fan of Minolta lenses including the "G" line. I love the color rendition, sharpness, texture and depth feel.

I'm currently using my Sony A7II with the A-mount Sony 70-200mm f2.8 SSM via an adapter. And I'm very excited about their new "GM" line of which are design by the old Minolta team. Sadly I can't afford to get them now, would love to get the 24-70mm f2.8 GM  :icon_lol:

Take care,
Buddy

I'm currently on the Southern Coast of Portugal, near Faro, and will be here for the next week. The beaches and landscapes are beautiful, and I had my very first chance at photographing surfers on the water. It's a little tricky getting the light and clarity just right, but I'm happy with my first attempts. See what ya' think. Next week, I'll be heading to Germany and Holland. More later... Thanks PeteG!!. I'm going to try to get over to the nature preserves along the coast and do some birding. Got my 150-600mm big gun with me. :o

Thanks Bob, but that would be "sunrise." It was an incredible sight that didn't last long.

Ahh....  :duh:
I debated typing, "Sunrise/set", but assumed with the amount of waves that it was evening.
I thought there was a correlation. Obviously I was wrong. Not too close to a shore here, and don't get out often.

The Algarve Region in Portugal (Southern Coastal Zone) has beautiful vistas, views and coastlines. Let me share a few images with you, in both black and white and color.

If PeteG and others are interested, I do have some nice bird captures. Otherwise, I don't want to hog the thread....  :o

Thanks to everyone for looking. Today, I leave onward to Germany!

I agree with Bob, I'm on more photography forums lately but I hardly ever see shots of Portugal.

Ohhhh I see it now.
The bottom looked like a tight shot of forest floor, and the top looked like the Milky Way.
I thought you have made a shot with extreme close-up and time lapse of the night sky.

It's a log in an aquarium.  :duh:

Yea.. I didn't notice the fish until the second time around.

Was digging through some old photos on Photobucket today and ran across this one.
I've always thought it was kinda neat. A view not commonly seen.
Not sure how many years ago I got it?
