Title: Alan Parsons Project

Listening recently to some of the APP's work before he went more in the commercial / pop direction. Reminds me of how much current recordings fall short in terms of music, production, recording, and mixing quality.

My favorite is the quad remix of Dark Side of the Moon!  Just incredible!

I will not lie to you after the Beatles the pop music always was a rotten ground, many times the song neither have a nice rhyme, one of these artist recently was claimed King of Pop by the press.

I'm not sure where the commercial transition took place for APP, but my Classic Records release of Turn of a Friendly Card is one of the best sounding records I own.
