Any recommendations on a isolation platform.  Factory they come with pads and currently on carpet.  Any suggestions.  Thanks Mike

Hi, Mike. You can use Giant Fat Gliders in place of the factory pads, regular Threaded Stud Gliders screwed into the metal inserts on the bottom of the cabinet, or regular Cone/Spike Decoupling Gliders if the speakers were supplied with metal spikes. Any of these options would work very well with the Focal 1027 Be loudspeakers.

Thanks I'll be visiting the website.  Have a good day

One question do my speakers sit on top of these pads as I don't believe the bottom of my focals there have threaded holes for spikes etc.

According to his ad, this model does have spikes, you might have a look. Scroll down to the Includes: in the ad.

I remember seeing that ad.  Mine only have what I would think would be like a tac for sitting on hardwood or tile but I cannot get them out.  If they would sit on top of these pads then there is no issue anyhow.

Auralex sub-dude isolation platforms for sub woofers can also be used for speakers. I use them for my B&W803 diamonds. On hand I believe they are about $60.00 a piece. My 803's came with spikes which I use on the front of the speakers which sit on the isolation platforms.

A noticeable difference compared to them being on a cement floor even though the room is carpeted.
Thought this might help...just another idea in the mix.
