Flat Screen TV Solution
« on: 8 Apr 2017, 10:33 am »
I sourced some AQD Diffuser panels from PI Audio Group.  I attached some foam to the back of the panels to protect the tv screen and modified wreath hangers that are also attached to the back for installation.  It takes a couple minutes to put them on.

Much improved imaging and sound stage.

I have a pair on my TV exactly like yours, with exactly the same result.  I find them to be effective and reasonably priced.

Room and system look really good.
Probably a PITA to move, but have you ever listened to your system without that coffee table?

Max,

The coffee table is a PITA. We are going to replace it with something other than a glass top.  In the beginning of a kitchen remodel now, but the table is on the list. Can't eliminate it but I'm thinking a leather or wood top.

Thanks for the compliments!

Very Nice!

What are the AQD Diffuser panels made of? I didn't see anything on the website.

Thanks

Don, do you have a pic of the mounting mechanism on the TV?  Curious as to the details...  thanks!

About 12 years ago we found a leather covered coffee table that was soft like a large ottoman.  Great for putting your feet up and light enough to move to create seating for extra guests, but we needed to add a serving tray (that we can quickly pull out) for it to hold drinks.
