Bryston 1B question
« on: 7 Feb 2016, 07:47 pm »
I finally got myself a Bryston 1B
My question is about the use of the Switched and unswitched outlets.
It appears that I have 3 outlets 2 switched and 1 unswitched
Is it ok to plug my 3B bryston into this outlet ?
under the middle outlet it says max 500watts
Any help or opinions you can provide would be great.
I'm also worried that the preamp doesn't have a mute button like the BP4 which i was using prior to this.
The BP4 didn't have a phono stage, which is why i'm swapping it out.
Thanks all

Hi

NO do not plug the amplifier into the 1B it will draw too much power.  Please plug the amp directly into the wall.
