You have to register but you can catch all of it.  I find foursome play fascinating.  Alternating shot between partners -- why does Europe play so much better in this format?  Is it a cultural thing or just a coincidence?

Actually, it's the four-ball that shows the most glaring difference.  I looked it up.  Since '85  US trails 46 1/2 to 65 1/2 in four-ball -- two play own ball and best score counts.  At the same time, foursome  is 53 1/2 to 58 1/2 Euro and singles is 84 1/2 to 83 1/2 USA.  So the big difference has been the four-ball.  Overall, it's been the doubles play in both formats that's been the difference.

Thanks for the link Rim. Since I don't get the extra/premium channels I won't get coverage until tomorrow. Good question on the foursome item, not sure anyone's ever figured that one out, but obviously there's something there.

My brother and nephew are there. My brother lives 5 miles away, and nephew came from Colorado. Its a beautiful course.
