Just recently I aware there is a nice local speaker manufacturer that is mading some finest woofers to OB similar in price to the Alpha15A, inexpensive so.
The woofers line had many drivers, but I found two especially suited to OB, a 12 and a 15 inches:

Hi FULLRANGEMAN.
I just finished looking at the specs for those woofers you mentioned in the links
and they are very similar to my Eminence Acoustinator.
I am sure you will be happy with the sound.

After two months sending inquiries I giveup the Eminences by lack of email reply from the brasilian distributor and short after find this local brand.
For pair the Omega I have choose another woofer not mentioned above, its the 12W750A :

The paper cone is very light MMS=39gr only.

The remaining prob is I cant decide if I will run the Omega solo or a two way with this woofer for more slam with prog rock!
Help appreciated.

Hi Gustavo, that last 12 doesn't look very suited to use as an OB woofer. The 15 in your first post would be a better bet, AFAIC.

Yes the 12W750 aren suited to OB, the about Qts=0.5 is not nice to OB.
I say it my choice to pair the Omega FR why I will use it in a bassreflex ducted box around 150-200lts, where I think it would work with a 15W 6C33 amp.

If it were me, and I were looking to run them in actual OB, I would go with the 15 for sure.

They both have similar QTS and XMAX (2 of the 3 critical specs in my mind), but the 15 has a much lower FS which should lead to more satisfying bass in room.

Not saying you cannot try it on OB, I usually try every woofer I come across!
