Last night the wife and I went to the annual summer party at the local country club.
They normally get a good band up from Indy for it and it's normally held around the pool.
The weather sucked yesterday and they moved the party inside.
This was billed as a Bermuda themed party and the band was The Alligator Bros.
These are normally fun, but it was off the hook last night
Turns out a local (Indy) boy with a one hit wonder by the name of Henry Lee Summer is Alligator Bros. He signed his name away to the record company and can't use it.
He and his band were GREAT!!
BTW, his hit was "I want a girl with a walk like that"
Anyway the band was so close to the dance floor I high fived the lead guitarist after a great Eric Clapton solo
I also got a chance to talk to the sound guy to see what he does, and he was good as there was NO distortion or room modes that I could tell in most spots in the room.
Afterwards I got a chance to talk to most of the band members.
Henry Lee is a very nice guy.
If you ever get a chance to see him I recomend it.
Tonight David Lee Roth is in town. Since I think he's a major league asshole I won't waste my money on him.
