Laura, have you compared the songs on the greatest hits to the same songs on the other 45 rpm Dylan's that you have?  Any thoughts or are you being a completest?  As has been mentioned the 45's are amazing in their clarity but at these prices, I am having trouble buying two versions of the same song--Just Like a Woman would be a great test.

Phil

Hi Phil,

I have not compared any of the songs between Greatest Hits and the other 45 RPM releases, but Just Like a Woman would be a good one to do the comparison. I guess I am being a completest here. I never bought Greatest Hits when it came out so I wanted it in my collection and it seemed like the 45 RPM was the way to go.

One of my favorite psychedelic rock albums from the late 60s.

JD,

22 is pretty normal for this time of year in Spokane. With power restored I am toasty 8) and breaking in the Daedalus 2015 Drivers Lou installed a few weeks ago. The break-in was put on hold for a week due to the power outage. Vinyl in the day time when I'm home and a CD on repeat at night and when I'm at work. Lou said they need 200-300 hours, I guess I have a 100 or so by now. Enjoy your trip to Lou's. His speakers are amazing!

Morning Laura,

Yeah, been 33 years, but memory hasn't gone so bad (yet), I still remember those winters. As has been the 'norm' this year we swing from 10 deg above normal to 10 below. Such is life, thankfully this is about as bad as it gets. Am looking forward to visiting Lou & hearing his offerings, I'm sure it will be impressive. A friend in Bellingham is shopping as well, we'll see how it goes.
Glad to hear you've got the break-in back in progress, and things are toasty.  :thumb:
Be well.
JD
