Except Wentz may be done for the season with a suspected left ACL tear.

That sucks. I think Foles is one of the best backups in the league. He has a few games to get his feet under himself.

The Vikings Panthers game was great! We were in a sunny corner of the stadium row 6, sun kept us warm. Sold out, stands were pretty full, and no anthem kneeling.  :thumb:  Lots of Vikings fans were there, a nice bunch sitting around us were from ND. We traded fun trash talk with them as the lead swapped a couple times. Just when I was ready to hate on Newton for losing 10 point lead and the game in last quarter, and for looking bored as usual, he runs for 62 yards to win the game. Very exciting! Keuchly was great as usual, good to see Olson play again, although he did hobble off the field at one point. But Jonathan Stweart was my mvp with 3 TDs. One right at the beginning, ran it right into our corner.  :thumb:  I thought we would lose to Vikings, but it was a good matchup.

The sunny 45 degree Charlotte crowd gasped in horror like it was a fumble or something when they showed Buffalo snowy game highlights on the big screen.

Well it’s confirmed, torn left ACL, out for the rest of the season... :(

I said all year that Wentz can't take that many hits and make it through the season.  Foles is a great backup, but a backup none the less.  I feel for the young man, he had a MVP /Super Bowl season going and you never know when you get that again.

Great weekend for football, lots of really good games across the league.  My Eagles and Steelers pulled out late fourth quarter wins, marred only by the loss of Wentz.

I would think if Wentz makes a full comeback to form, the Eagles are looking at multiple Championships in the next 10 years .

If he does, and if Prescott returns to his freshman form, there should be a great rivalry for the next decade.

That would make for a great sports radio show contest: the winner gets his choice of either season tickets to the Redskins OR a 16 ounce squeeze bottle of French's mustard.
