...considering a second NuPrime STA-9 power amp (in order to bi-amp my Wharfdale speakers). Hoping to learn more about this and the experience(s) of any other AudioCircle members who might wish to respond.

I might suggest you consider using the STA-9 in "bridged" mode instead of biamping.
