If you ever consider shipping, lets talk . . . .
I'm 15 minutes from Jim and I'm sure a proper shipping carton could be sent your way
btw, which plate amp is that and is that the paper cone? Curious, as this would be used with a dual sub system
TIA
Glenn

Sure. We can ship. Can you send a box my way? PM me for contact details.

I'll reach out to Jim on Monday . . .
Can you provide details on the sub . . . age, plate amp specs/features and damage/issues with the cabinet?
It has to sonically match to the sub I purchased in March of this year
Thanks!
fwiw, this may help.
On the back of the sub, just above the power cord connection there should be the wording "DirectServo"
Just above this, in small print should be the model ( i.e. A370XLR3 )
-
The photo of the plate amp seems to indicate the model no. is A370PEQ3.

Pretty sub!
If you don't mind my commenting, first, by looking at the picture, the driver is the aluminum cone version (not the GR paper cone). Next, the amp is the A370PEQ3 (as noted above by TD); the XLR3 you mention is the same power output amp, but with SE and balanced inputs instead of SE and speaker level inputs. Here is a link to Rythmik's web page showing the differences:
http://www.rythmikaudio.com/amplifiers.html (http://www.rythmikaudio.com/amplifiers.html)
So, to help Glenn, if the sub you bought in March is an aluminum cone version with an A370-series amp, sonically I think you should be good to go.

Thanks Gents!
I'm hoping the OP will confirm your findings . . .

Just like TD a Jonathon said.
Did you call Jim?
Do you still want the sub?
-
I'm in Bay Area and interested in more details about this subwoofer.
When was it made and purchased ?
(ie is this the current version with the same specs as on http://www.salksound.com/model.php?model=Rythmik+12+Subwoofer)
What cabinet finish is this ?
(I like it to be as close to my other salk cabinets as possible.)
As i'm newly registered user and cannot PM, any communications methods would be appreciated (like a newly created email address). Since we are both local in Bay Area, this will be in person transaction.

If the deal falls through with a local guy, I may still be interested…
btw, thanks guys for your input on the compatibility with my existing sub

Clearly, not motivated
