http://www.mentalfloss.com/article/81468/why-do-canadians-drink-milk-bags
This article is racist, plastics bags packing is ''funny'' to this journalist why he live in the only country in the world that use the imperial system of the thumb of the king.

Plastics bags are much cheaper than tetrapack boxes or plastic bottles.

That plastic bag milk is liquid or powdered milk?

Plastic bags are filled with liquid milk.
You can get powdered milk,
but it's packed in carton box
and not very popular nowadays.

Coming from a family of 10 children
(I am the first one - the oldest)
I remember when my father was at the hospital
and my mother did not have an outside job,
she try her best to cut the cost of the grocery
to feed us.
One way was the powdered milk,
she bought a 10lb box and mix it with water and some real milk.
We were young, so we didn't really taste - see the difference.
Horse meat was a different story,
but we knew it tasted different,
but did not know it was horse meat,
so we did not complain,
and even if we did, my mother had very little money,
I was 15 and still not working.
