I was really surprised to see this; she died today of complications after heart surger.  She was 73.

It's amazing that her husband survives her, given his wild younger years and later health problems.

I was never into country music, but she was a country pioneer, having recorded some of the most influential music of countries earliest years.

when i was a kid all my family would ever play was pig farmer music,every weekend at my uncle ralphs they would break out the guitars and play more pig farmer music.
jonny cash was the only one i could stand , so i feel bad for him
