Feb. 6th Record Road Show
« on: 24 Jan 2016, 12:31 am »
Hey GASSERS,

Jim Pendleton is coming to town to do some record shopping so I'm throwing this out.  Meet at Euclid Records around 10 am followed by lunch in the Old Webster area. Move on to Vintage Vinyl for more vinyl feeding frenzy. Or 8-tracks. Or shellac. Whatever.

No door prizes, but I may buy you a Barry Manilow record if you treat me right.   I think we have Jim and Jeff from Mid-MO, Vance, Scott, Sturgus so far. Hope to see you guys on the 6th.

Rather than Barry Manlow, could you make it Air Supply or maybe Yanni?

Dave, look forward to seeing you and Liam. We might have to go to Ikea and pick up some storage for all the vinyl we buy.

I won't be able to make it as my wife has planned an event at our house this Saturday during the same time period.
So have fun guys, see you at the next event.

P.S.  Has anybody ever looked at the statistics of the AudioCircle's Regional Audiophiles?  There are 9 Regional Boards.  The total for all nine boards is 31,145 posts in 2,875 topics.  Ahem!  The Gateway Audio Society board accounts for 16,170 posts in 1,424 topics.

To say that Saint Louis is a great place to be an audiophile with such a tremendous resource as G.A.S. is an understatement!

A huge thank you to everybody for making GAS, what it is.  I've been a member since November of 2008 and I am very grateful to all of you.

last call for GASSERS record road show. Meet at Euclid at 10 am, grab lunch, then hit some more spots.  Maybe the new place on Manchester. I'll check in on the GAS circle to let you see what you're missing.

Maybe, life should take a break and live a little. :P
By the way, I spent my record money on Boz Scaggs 2 new albums, I 'm broke.
Memphis and A Fool to Care.
Both are very good.
