Hello from norway

Hello! Just a norwegian audiophile looking to for a setup that will work with my extremely polluted mains grid without a ton of conditioning or a regenerator.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.

Welcome!

Have you considered battery power?

I checked up red wine audio, but it is being replaced by vinnie rossi, so I am looking at vinnie rossi.

I looked around for other batterypowered sollutions but, I think I will just have anxiety for the batteries dropping under the needed voltage all the time.

Welcome.

I solved my hash with two IFI Ipurifiers.

With my current setup I got an Ifi ipurifier, it fixed a lot of the problem, same did filters on a lot of appliances include the computer etc. I also got a dc offset filter that also improved thing, but if I am going to solved everything with my current setup I need a regenerator. But I though Id rather look at a battery or supercapacitor sollution instead.

Vinnie Rossi LIO is a perfect solution. Regenerators will not solve your issue. Can you run a dedicated 20A line ? If so run it from opposite of panel from appliances. Good money spent. Then condition that line. Gigawatt, PIAudio Uber and Betabuss or others.
With the VR LIO no conditioning required and maybe no dedicated ilne either. However I still would install 20A line.

In fact at least on noise issue requires me to use a regenerator. I am renting so installing a separate low impedance line is out of the question otherwise I would have done that years ago.

But I am probably just buying a lio, and continuing from there(if it's needed).

Just to be specific, this noise issue I am troubled with, which requires me to get a regenerator is intermodulation distortion.
