Good review Frank I.  Thanks.  I've been so impressed with Beyer over the past year.  Had a few days on their flagship T1 in April and yes, a special piece to own.  Believe the hype.    As well as their DT-990 (600 ohm)...not quite T1's equal but it's worthy in it's own right.  Got the DT-880's (250 ohm) breaking in now with many sonic characteristics as the 990.  I'm not saying I've road tested all phones available but all the Beyers I've had the pleasure of sampling (and owning) will keep me with them for quite a while.

I have had my T90's for a few months and have been very pleased with them. Driving them with a WA6 amp. A certain member  here has told me how good the T1's are ( I'm sure he is right) but for the cost difference I had more money to put towards that new Stratocaster I have been wanting.
Very pleased with the T90 and would recommend them.

The T1 is a step up. But for people who really want similiar sound the T90 get you about 90 percent of what the T1 offers.

Thanks for your review, I should have mentioned that in my last post.
90% will do for now.....the big problem is there are way too many "toys" I want and only so much money to go around!

Thanks for sharing this review Frank, you guys should consider trying the Soloist SL (or the original version) its an outstanding SS amp with great synergy with the T90/T1's.
