I am using a BP-26 with the 28BSST-2 and was wondering what the effective power output is when a 23dB gain is specified at the power amplifier stage using the balanced inputs and the volume is at 12 o'clock?
I guess it's a function of what you are playing, but approximate power level would be handy. Source is a CD player.
Reason I ask is that the speakers are only 400W max power handling so it's quite hard to know when you've overloaded them.
The speakers are KEF Reference 207/2
