Okay, maybe it is a BIT early, but not much. Every year we have folks calling and submitting orders in the last week or two before Christmas and they are very frustrated when we can't get it to them in time. Most of you know that for the most part we "build to order". In other words, we do final assembly and testing when your order comes in. This allows us to approximate a JIT inventory for many parts, helping us keep YOUR costs down.
As we approach Christmas, we tend to get quite a few large orders that can back us up a bit. Also, incoming parts shipments are sometimes delayed during this busy time of year. So, if you are planning to purchase from us from Christmas, the sooner the better to avoid disappointment.
You CAN do a sort of layaway. Placing your order early, and specifying a date in the future when you want us to ship. We'll work with you on the details, just contact us with your needs.
