Damn, Danny, where you keep coming up with this stuff?  The tracks look to me like things that were previously released on the Impulse and Atlantic labels.  Maybe they are new takes?.  Several are some of Trane's best recorded music of which I am aware.

Hey there Jim.  :wave:

JC released a few albums on Pablo, a couple which I have. To be honest I am not sure if these tracks were released elsewhere or not. I think/hope not, but cannot say for sure (yet).
I will do some investigating and careful listening and report back my findings.

Reading the bottom of the back side of the album cover, I'm thinkin that these takes were not previously released.  Lemme know how you like them.  That IS his legendary quartet and one I've seen thrice.

Agree. If you have live tracks of JC and they are not on Pablo, you don't have these. As far as I can tell, not even as bonus tracks on other non-Pablo releases.
These are recorded live, so, though sound terrific and the playing is terrific, there are a few anomalies: off-mic drop off/outs, and the ambiance sound of the large hall (?) if that bothers you. If you love JC and especially live, I recommend this double disc set on Pablo.

EDIT: Also some vocalization/moaning by one of the band members while playing on a few cuts. Similar to Keith Jarrett, but nowhere near as obnoxious or loud.
NOTE: These tracks are very melodic. Not as much honking and squealing here as I've heard on other live tracks.

EDIT: More details from inserts ... all on Pablo ...
Originally released as Afro Blue Impressions;
except Disc 2, tracks 4 & 5  released on The European Tours;
and Disc 2, track 6 released on Live Train: The European Tours.

24-bit remastering; released 2013 by Concord for 50th anniversary of concert and 40th anniversary of Pablo Records.

Wonderful "dinner" music?  You crackin me up, dude.  Can't seem to display the info about your system using the "systems" link.  Can you help me out with that?

Yes, some very tasty morsels on that set. I have yet to set up my "Systems" thingy. I'll work on that "in the soon". You will be able read about my incredible Electrophonic / Panasonic "thruster" system.  :o

Used to have her "Late, Late Show" and love her.  I bet Satfrat has it.  Think I should be about replacing it.  I wish you didn't live such a long drive from me.  Comin down here for Christmas this year?  I have a must hear for you.  Mark Levinson's "Jazz at Long wharf" on his label with brother Doug on piano.  Damn, it's good.  His playing (bass) isn't just novel and the recording damn sure isn't either.  It is superb.

Roland Kirk  ~  We Free Kings

with Hank Jones, Richard Davis and Charlie Persip.

Persip's drumming is par excellence on this and still he's still with us at 85.

Actually, I just got back from the swamp a couple of days ago.  Sorry that I didn't have time to connect with you this time.  I thought I had an extra copy of "Late,Late Show", but didn't find it on the first try.  I'll do a more thorough search tomorrow.  If you've been a good boy this year, maybe Santa will send you a package.

Kenny Barron & Dave Holland — The Art Of Conversation
Those are two particularly fine players and while I don't have that recording, meet Kenny Barron with a positively smoking (!) quintet on this one:

A radio broadcast of Marian McPartland with guest Bill Evans. Music and conversation. Magical!
A must have for any Evans fan.
