Lowes and HD are fast becoming my favorite C&C audio stores.

Here are some nice binding posts for $5.22 ( item # 248205 ). I've used them on speakers and amps. Since they have set screws they require no soldering. A twelve pack on sale cost under $30. The plastic part I remove and discard.

Here's the way the Lowe's binding posts look on a $9 Sure TPA3110 amp from P.E.

A little harder to see but here I'm using the Lowe's binding posts on some helper OB woofers from Sansui's left on the curb.

The $12 TPA3116 on the left uses the Lowes binding posts.

The Lowes binding posts are on clearance so act fast if you need some.

My local Lowes had these, but only a 10 pack for bulk.  The posts in the bulk pack are different and do not appear to made as well.  Cheap enough I guess.

The wall thickness that these binding posts mount into can be as much as 7/16". If you mount these on a metal chassis, you need to subtract from that wall thickness to account for 3/8" ID non-conductive washers (e.g. Nylon) on each side of the binding posts nuts. Each post requires a 3/8" (10mm) diameter hole. Standard spacing between 5-way binding posts is 3/4" (19mm) center hole-to-center hole.
