Rick,

Is the front baffle CNC aluminum?

Are other driver cutouts fairly easy to make? Is it cosmetic only, or does it help with SQ as well?

The Cell cutouts are simply circular holes and for the smaller cells an o-ring is expanded against the walls to create a very tight seal.  We used the smaller 2" cell driver in a similar arrangement, an aluminum plate against a phenolic baffle, and the result is a very clean looking mount.  No driver flange to distract from the look.

Should be very nice looking once mounted.  The larger cells have a narrow flange that's quite thick.  Think gigantic dome tweeter and you have a Cell driver.

Yes, CNC aluminum and anodized. The curved sides are baltic birch and remainder MDF. Are far as other types of cutouts I don't know - no experience there. It's probably more cosmetic than anything else; however, I've not started testing to confirm that. The veneer here has no finish but will really "pop" after it's applied.

92db sensitivity, 4-ohm impedance, and a sealed box designed to go with a woofers / subwoofers to fill in the bottom octaves. This pair was designed to to sit on top of subs but I could easily integrate them into a single floorstander. The subs need good bandwidth though so that will eliminate some contenders. These are very clean with low distortion and excellent detail. I will upload the graphs when I get the time to do that.

Hi Rick,

Really nice looking speakers and quality components as well.  Any ideas on an expected price they will sell for?

Cheers Rod

It depends on what options you choose, about $6-8K/pr. including shipping to the CUSA. This pair is on the upper end due to the Baltic birch curved sides, aluminum baffles, WBT posts,Supra wiring, and Mudorf EVO /Silver-Oil caps. The SoCal owner wanted to go all out!

It's possible but not something I would recommend for this particular driver.

What bass drivers would you pair with the Accuton Cell MTM arrangement?  8" Accuton Woofers?

It really depends on how much bass extension you want plus the usual things like cabinet size and sensitivity. Accuton, Morel, and Scan-Speak are a few to consider.
