Wonderful!! That's great you're enjoying them.

How bout a few more pictures when you get a chance Gary?

What kind of class D modules are used in the Red Dragon amps? ICE?

Our Red Dragon S500 utilizes the latest Pascal Amplifier Architecture with our proprietary input buffer section to bring forth our best effort to date.

The Pascal modules.    Something different than ICE.
I will post some pics maybe tomorrow.  I will include the amp in them.

Gary,

Thank you for the update on your impressions. I really like those Satori 7 1/2" drivers.

what is the low end response of these Rick?

Here's a nearfield response curve. -3dB @43hz and -10dB @24hz.

Rick,    for a kit like this, using a new combination of drivers, do you build a rough cabinet to allow crossover tuning? Or are you able to rely on past design experience, driver knowledge, testing the actual drivers and simulating the design to create a kit that is only first heard by the customer? So many custom kits, and happy customers.

I keep several test cabinets on hand for doing designs. I've tested simulations from various places and found that they often fall short in terms of performance. After using so many drivers and design formats it's not difficult to determine what will make a good combination.  8)

what would it take to get bass from these drivers? more woofers, more ports?

what gets the -3db down to 28Hz? would a powered woofer be required for that?
thanks

More woofers and ports won't add any bass extension. A powered woofer with equalization is possible but I probably wouldn't do it with this driver.
