Rick, can you speak more about your thoughts on carbon fiber drivers?  I know you stongly advocate metal/hard drivers used conservatively in their appropriate frequency range, but I've been very impressed with the few carbon fiber drivers that I have heard.  The Morel TSCM634, in particular, looks like a fantastic midrange driver, with usable frequency response from about 100 Hz up to almost 10 KHz, with no nasty resonances to tame like ceramic or metal drivers.  I know you've had concerns about Morel's motor structures and linear extension in the past, but would that really be an issue with a midrange driver?  Any thoughts or comments would be kindly appreciated.

Not all CF drivers are the same. The Morel cones are very nice and sandwich composites with CF being used for the outer layers. Their new motors are also very good. I've not tested the midrange but it should perform nicely.

Hey Rick,

I see a lot of your designs with the Raal tweeter, not that I have anything against the Raal, I prefer Beryllium and was wondering if you work with the scanspeak BE tweeters?

Sure - in fact, it's the best dome that I've heard. I've built a monitor and also a center channel with the Be tweeter.
