It is once again a time to experience Christmas, Lady Laundrew has completed the Christmas tree and also managed to humiliate Hector once again with the annual "reindeer antler" photograph.

I have not noticed this before and now that you have mentioned it - My goodness it does or "they" do  :o :lol: 

Seriously, Lady Laundrew was mentioning a few weeks ago that she wants to replace this light because it hangs down so low - it all makes sense now  :scratch: :duh: I could also say that things are looking up, but that would be over the top :nono:

I owned the VPI Scoutmaster for a while but never liked or could use to the wobbly feeling of their unipivot tonearms.  Great sound and speed stability (mine had the SDS and was fitted with a Dynavector DV-20X2L low-output MC cart) but the tonearm feel I did not like...  :|

I now own a Brinkmann Bardo direct-drive turntable with Origin Live Encounter MK3C tonearm.  Very nice indeed! :thumb:

Both of your TT are very nice :thumb:

I personally do not like the unipivot  arm as well

So went with the new gimballed arm,will be putting some hours this weekend

Lady Laundrew has decided that there is a much better place for our annual Charlie Brown Christmas tree and with that, Charlie's humble tree has been relocated to a different area of our home. What to do? Well it is most certainly time to have an appropriate Christmas tree for the place that is my Xanadu.
