Changing fuse in B100
« on: 21 Jun 2010, 08:52 pm »
Didnt get any answer in another thread so I make my own.
Is the european version also fast blow?
I tried getting the fuse out so I could take a look at it, but I am afraid of breaking it. The fuse is located near the amplifier enclosure itself on a little plastic tray, I see a little black tap but it doesnt seem to move. Can I just "twist" the fuse out without breaking anything? It seems to be stuck somehow.

I got an answer from the spanish representative of Bryston, they said the warranty is only valid if I send it to Bryston in Canada so I opened up the B100, the external fuse is ok but my internal "surge protector" fuse is blown. Its the T125MAL250V fuse.
I have ordered some new fuses.
I also plan on using my system with a DC filter from now on, who knows, might help.
