Which is Bryston's Best Pre-amp?
« on: 7 Oct 2015, 03:25 am »
IMO the SP2 is Bryston's best pre-amp for digital music playback. Yes even better than the SP3 because you can hook either the BDA-1/2/3 which has two chips whereas the SP3 only has the one, resulting in better stereo seperation.

However I'm thinking the SP2 might be weak in 2 channel analog bypass cause digital to my ears sounds soooo much better. So that's why I'm wondering, do other Bryston pre-amps have superior analog processing compared to the SP2? :smoke:

The SP2 I believe is no longer in production.

I assume for regular 2channel analog or digital the BP25  or 26 would be the choice..... :D

They are all good but I really like the SP3.  I think BP 25 is a underappreciated pre amp also.
