Mr. Tanner,
I’ve been told that the Sonics 800X amplifiers are in fact the Bryston 7B NRB. First, what sets the two brands apart?  Second, if a Sonic amp needs repairs, can it be sent to Bryston for repairs like one would a Bryston amp?  Last, what is your opinion on pairing them with a set of Thiel CS2.3?  By the way, it’s nice to have access to you.

Hi

We built the Sonics to their specification so not a lot of differences.

Mike would know better but I believe you get the authorization from Sonics and we can repair the amp and they compensate us if within their warranty.

James, this is fascinating info!

I didn't know about the Sonics amps. What if the amps are out of warranty? Can you still perform repairs?

Cheers!

I believe we can at a price if out of warranty but Mike is the better person to ask. I assume specific parts may be the concern.
