My brother (AC member but infrequent poster) still has his K100RS.  The first year of ABS.

He rode it from Toronto to Cali, and back through Texas one summer. 

I have ridden it a number of times.  Super stable at speed and comfortable for hours.  Then again I rode GSXR's so perhaps my viewpoint is skewed!

I find the K bikes really great at speeds tough to pay the tickets at too!

I have never ridden a Boxer, but guys do love them and they have a great rep for reliability.

If I owned a K-Series, I would probably be replying to the thread on a Prison Computer! I have enough trouble with the law and trying to keep the Boxer RS anywhere close to the speed limit.

This is my third Boxer, when BMW came out with the new Water-Cooled engine I just had to own one, unreal low end torque and still very smooth through the power band.

Der K-Bike is here and needs a few klouts mitt der Magic Hammer.
New tires right off the bat, it handles like a dump truck at the moment.
