Lucinda Williams for FREE!!!
A great show on a perfect night a Sout Park in Pittsburgh.
The four encores were outstanding, and the show was very solid.
See the set list if you like here:

The show was awesome.  They played almost 3 hours with a short intermission.  Seeing them play an acoustic show lets you appreciate what good musicians they are.

Seen 'em many times over the years in all forms:  electric, acoustic, solo Jorma.

Never disappointed, always a good show!    :thumb:

The venue, crowd energy, and performance were all top notch.  One of my favorite vinyl albums is Jorma – Quah, so the performance was reminiscent of that type of sound.

I also enjoyed the banter on stage.  When Jack Cassidy drank some water, Jorma said, "Don't worry take your time.  Try not to over-hydrate unless you are wearing your Depends."

Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlins at the Bing Crosby Theater, Spokane WA. Great show with three 2 song encores. Show started around 8:10 and ended between 10:30 and 10:45.

Saw a great show last month at the Caramoor estate in NY...outdoors in an elegant "tent". David Bromberg acoustic band with violin/guitar player from Railroad Earth sitting in, and Barry Mitterhoff joining on mandolin for a multiple tunes...followed by acoustic Tuna. Great show topped off by Bromberg coming out to join them for the encore!

Also just got tix for Jorma and Barry at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock in September. The last time they were there it was an acoustic Tuna show and Larry Campbell and Theresa Williams form the Levon Helm Band played on quite a few numbers...so we're looking forward to another night of Jorma!

A local band that I've followed for years now (Crowfield) who is starting to get pretty big is giving this guy a shot at opening for them.

See if you notice this song that he has covered.  Pretty damn good.

I'm pretty excited to be going to see them soon.

Phish 3 night run in Denver.  WOW!  Rivals the '97 & '98 shows!  Glad to see them exploring and jamming so well.
