It seems I’ve been on a tear buying stuff lately and just picked up a
55” Samsung 1080p HDTV… I watched a couple of movies and so far
I like this TV very much, the size is perfect for my room..

Congrats Brooklyn!

Thanks ACHiPo, I’ve been wanting to get a larger TV for a while now, this one fit the bill.
Next up….... a more comfortable chair to watch it with.

Hi, James. I just took delivery of my new BP26 and MPS2 from my dealer yesterday afternoon. I got them home and spent the rest of the afternoon hooking everything up. My first reaction? WOW! DOUBLE WOW! I am just thrilled with the sound I'm getting out of my system now! I haven't had a chance to listen for a long period of time yet, but that's what I'm going to do today. My impression right off the bat is that I'm hearing more presence and detail in the midrange. There's more bass coming through too. Everything just seems to play effortlessly. My wife and I listened to a wide variety of music and everything just plain sounded better. My system now consists of BDP-1, BDA-1, 4BSST2, BP26, MPS2 and BIT 15. My speakers are Snell LCR 500 with an M&K subwoofer. The turntable is a Rega RP-6. I am really happy with this system. My wife must be too; last night she said, "I think we can take the old preamp (Carver 4000t) out to the garage now." Excuse me; I need to go listen now!  :P

My Parasound A 21 arrived.... :D. Back to two channel. Adios surround system. So far the JC2 and the A21 are driving the MiniT's beautifully.

My A 52 in excellent condition still needs a new home

Hi gene

Looks great - you know I do not think many people realize how good a well set up Stereo rig can sound as all the hype gets directed at surround setups  :thumb:

With my SP2 when I switch from Neo:6 to digital stereo, I really can't tell much of a difference. Perhaps the fronts are masking the sound of the surrounds in my set up. When I switch to Dolby Pro Logic 2, I can't tell if it sounds better because it louder or better. But it seems to give the music more ambience which I like. :smoke:
