Better Call Saul
« on: 24 Feb 2016, 01:03 pm »
Last night I started season two of Better Call Saul and I'm always loving the music they showcase during the show. The song at the end that starts during the credits grabs my attention everytime but I never bothered finding out who the artist is or what the song title is until now. Either it's a top secret government cover up or I'm just having too hard of a time finding who does this song...anybody care to take a gander at who this artist is?

"SoundHound" was unable to determine the song.

The few forums I've looked in keep thinking its Chris Joss "Tune Down". It's similar but I don't think it's the same...

"Tune Down" is a great song, but they're definitely different tunes.

I saw that the band Little Barrie wrote the intro/theme music but after reading that article I guess you have to assume they performed the song at the end during the credits also since its nowhere to be found. Maybe its one of their many potential themes they offered and it got picked for the credits...

Bad video I could not see anything, image is blur, camera out of focus and moves all the time.
Interesting. Looks great here. Must be a South American thing.

I just recently saw season 1 of "Better Call Saul" off Netflix. Fantastic!

Thanks all for the background info on the Better Call Saul music  :thumb:

Love the Little Barrie reverb-soaked guitar intro AND the infectious electric piano groove of "Tune Down" by Chris Joss. That scene with Mike Ehrmantraut breaking into the house & looking for the $1.6 million of embezzled funds coupled with "Tune Down" is mesmerizing.

The music was probably a paid musician bit just for them.  I finished BCS a while back and while it started off really slowly IMO, it did manage to keep my attention.  I enjoyed it.

Finally had the time to get through S1 of Better Call Saul.

Agree it started slowly, I found the first episode cool.  Then I found it was slow for most of the season.

It is hard to compare much to BB, so no surprise it is not as good to me.

I will watch the next season, just to see if it can get really good.
