Hi,
I think that Focal with a qts 0,73 has a very good medium bass  and clear voice
i cut off them at 200hz.
i had audionirvana super 8, very good performance in closed box, but bad experience in OB for me.

new notice.
i upgrade the tweeters with a pair of Focal TN 52, neomidium magnet and tioxin surface.
very smooth high, much better than serial tweeter

oh yes  :thumb:
now, i'm playing with 2 TPA3116D power amplifier.
it is very important to remove the original cap, and play in a multiway system.
my woofer A&D audio R1524 are powered by a TAS5630 sure amplifier.
bye

Good to hear.

I have two Peerless SLS 830669 12" Woofers in 70 l boxes and sub plates amps for each of them.
Thinking what to do with them .Open baffle on the top looks appealing but cant decide what driver to pick.
I have  pair of 3inch  VIFA TC9 and Peerless 830986 drivers but no sure how to use them.I dont think 3inch drivers will go down to 150hz on 330mm wide open baffles.
Focal idea looks interesting and sure will go down to 150hz.

I'm open to other options as well ,so all inputs are welcome guys...

embty2002 you could post some pictures to see how your system look now?.

yes i have two  TPA3116D as well :-) in fashion now.

i'm sure that Focal PC165 go down to 150hz, but i prefer to cut 200hz.
i like the AR1524 woofers around the 150hz
