UberBUSS hiding at AXPONA-Chicago

UberBUSS hiding at AXPONA-Chicago

I must confess... We (Volti Audio & Triode Wire Labs) had my personal UberBUSS hiding under Greg Robert's equipment rack at AXPONA this past weekend. All components were plugged into the UBER!





We had reasonably priced Quicksilver Mid-Mono tube mono blocks ($1895 per pair) & a tube pre-amp (PeachTree tube preamp - $799) coupled to the Volti Audio Alura's at 98 dB efficiency...

The room was dead quiet at idle and EXPLOSIVELY DYNAMIC!!!

Thanks, Dave!!!  :thumb:  Greg Roberts (Volti Audio) will be purchasing one of your Ubers for all future shows!!

I must warn all onlookers. I was locked in that bathroom for hours until I relented and agreed to buy speaker cables and RCA connectors. Never travel alone on Sunday afternoon at Axpona (minutes before closing time). The darnedest things can happen.  :icon_lol:

You snuck an UBER into my system at LSAF 3 years ago, and I ended up buying it on the spot..... :o

It goes out when I get home.  I worked on it last night.  Today I'm OOT (again), but get back this afternoon late... I think.  Whatever happens it will be at the PO today.

Heck no, you weren't getting it back.  Thanks for not gouging me on the price, which I probably should have asked about BEFORE telling you I wanted to buy it. :duh:

Just don't send Pete to LSAF this year, because I probably shouldn't be buying any cables right now.

It's best if you have a big burly friend or two in tow, but take a set of lock picking tools just in case. That guy is a GRIZZLY. :bawl:
