Sebrof is correct - it is coaxial. The model of the driver was provided; an interweb search provides the detail. You can see the compression tweeter down the horn in this pic.

I hope this helps explain.

Cheers,
Ray
Hi Ray.
Thanks for the picture and info.
That's a little special driver.

No problem Guy.

Yeah, I think it is a special driver too. The coaxial arrangements helps ensure that the presentation is cohesive in smaller rooms and in the right cabinet it is full range and dynamic enough for me. It needs a well-designed crossover though.

I am getting very musical results at the moment - currently listening to Brian McBride and it is lovely. Not sure how the new DAC will change things... I could easily be satisfied with this system for a very long time.

Cheers,
Ray

Bill, you're bringing this thread to a whole 'nother level. Very nice indeed.   :thumb:

Can you tell a little about them, sensitivity, what you're driving them with...
Thanks for posting

Hi all.
I know that I have posted a zillion times here picture of my Low Watt Speakers,

Whatever happened to Martinelli?  Heard his floor standing 2-way at the Midwest Audio Fest years ago and frankly were the only horn loaded speakers I've liked.  Found a website for woodworking, is that him?

Nice looking system Guy - I can tell much effort has gone into that! Such a nice thing to come home to... and I bet music sounds wonderful!

So nice...

Hi Ray.
Thanks for the compliments, really appreciated.
The road to my, what will be, last system, was a little bumpy.
I made lots of costly mistakes, but I am now very happy with what I have.
After I upgrade my Rega turn-table with the PDR linear arm that Perry sent me
and I buy a new Pro-Ject Phono Box MM that should be it, it will be my final system until I kick the bucket, which should be hopefully in about three time 10 years.
Well, not quite, I still have to get my Nakamichi BX100 overhauled.
I also want to try something else, but it's confidential for now, however,
when I had make up my mind, I will gladly share with you my secret project, because I have no secret for my AC friends.
Thanks

99dB sensitive
I'm using the ALK crossover with some really nice upgrades performed to them.
Amps, So many from NC400 mono's,Eastern Electric EL156 mono's as in the photo,(Overkill for sure but concert levels can be achieved if desired) all of our Eastern Electric amps usually 8 watts at most
I have a modest 5 watt that Alex built for me years ago when we first met using a RGN2504 mesh plate Telefunken rectifier that sounds superb also.
I laid them on their side a few years back and enjoyed their presentation when a few tweaks were employed but now they are back in the upright position. You never know until
 you experiment a little.
