I saw this in 3d with my daughter. Holy sh#t this movie is stunning and soooo entertaining!!
I will be watching the blu-Ray with my wife and daughter when it is released. If I bought dvd's I would purchase this one for sure. Maybe some of the most beautiful animation I have ever seen.  I have loved every movie this house has put out, The Boxtrolls was their last movie , and that blew my family away as well!!
You must see this on the big screen!! , and the 3d was perfect as well. IF you do 3d that is.

Watched it last night with my 9 year old daughter - she loved it and I also enjoyed it.  Great visuals and a surprisingly robust soundtrack.

Just watched Kubo last night and it is a really fun movie. The cutting edge stop motion animation, excellent voice actors, great story and fantastic soundtrack make this a must see film for all ages.

I did a quick Google search and discovered a bunch of "the making of Kubo and the two strings" videos I have to watch.
