Bypass Capacitors... Actual octave range effected by using this method?

But then again if it's an audio band-width limited square wave, then probably not.

Well, a 10kHz square-wave will need at least 100kHz for an upper bandwidth to have a sharply defined leading edge.

Like everything at DIYA. Sometimes the problem is the ultimate is an opinion. One guy on DIYA says you have to have a cascade of small caps, others flat out say resonance city... Which sounds better? Eh?

You sort of have to pick your poison and listen to the results. Referring to the Felix power filter, we are using a .68 or .47uf then a .1uf and .01uf. I have to admit that I have stuck with what seems to sound good in this application and I haven't experimented with other values.
