It's cheap, real cheap.

Has anyone listened to one? If so what did you think of it?

Could it be used to drive a pair of active monitors such as the JBL LSR305s with the source being a computer?

Mics have low signal voltage hence preamps have lots of gain. You will have to risk with inputs sensitibity or ask the shop ''experts'' that they claim have.
Gain Range    70dB (XLR to XLR typical)

So that wouldn't work. I guess I need to learn to read. I'll dig my Chase out of the closet and see if it still works.
