Wow!  Some people here raise the bar quite high...   :D

Just took delivery of my new (used) BP-26/MPS-2 with BR-2 remote.

Some people may say I'm impressed with little thing but I've never had a remote quite like the BR-2.  This thing is built to last!

Take care!

I just purchased a BUC-1.  I was previously using an Oppo 103 as a bridge to my dac.  I didn't know what I was missing until now.  I only have about 40 hours playing time on it but it continues to improve and I'm very pleased.  This is a great product!!

The vinyl saga continues, perhaps I will find time to unbox it tomorrow.

I had watched a few videos on YouTube with respect to this issue and could not understand why people would do this - it just seemed a little risky. But then again, as a vinyl wanna-be newbe (I do not own a turntable at all), did not have any experience with this type of cleaning.

This gent seems to take it all in good stride after a disaster.

Pulled the Clearaudio Double Matrix Professional sonic record cleaning machine out of the box this morning and immediately noticed its quite hefty 16 kgs of weight - no surprises as of yet with respect to the build quality. Ordered the turntable yesterday so hopefully in a month or so, I can finally listen to a record - it has been a long couple of years.

It looks like today will consist of cleaning my most humble vinyl collection.

Couple of years is nothing when I bought a phono stage 5 years ago when I even did not have any LP or turntable and still do not have any.
Even though, I might be the next person to buy a turntable, but I must admit it that this is only to want to have one rather then something necessity.

I convinced myself I required a turntable because some of my Gothic music was never released on CD, asides from a couple of tunes that made it into compilations.

That's my excuse and am sticking with it

But is there a steam power option?  At least a gasoline engine?  Electricity is a fad.

jk  Looks great!
