For sale is my beloved JWN MONOBLOCK power amplifier. It is in very good condition and sounds amazing. It has 50 watts of pure magic. As with all of Jwn and Lance Cochrane amps they have that music making ability that gets you lost in the music. It sounds like a 45 dht set amplifier but with gobs of power. Just read the review of Dick Olsher and Lynn Olsen of Jims amps as they sound exactly how they described it.

The amps were built around 2011. The amps are in great electrical condition and sounds as good as it looks. I will be very sad to let this wonderful amplifiers go.

The amps will come with quads of 6l6gc, a 12ax7, 12au7, and a pair of 5u4 rectifiers each monoblocks. The tubes are new and matched.

Silly question.  Are those empty tube sockets at the end of the monoblocks?

Hi,

No they are not... they were connectors for external components  when they were used in organs before. They are now disconnected and not in use. Jim rebuilt the amps to use the  circuit taught by Lance Cochrane. Per Jim it was his favorite amps due to the magic of the transformers.

Does the amp run only 6L6GC output tubes?   Can it use KT66?   6V6GT? 

I have a couple of amps, one by Lance Cochrane, which can run all of these along with 6550 & KT88.

Hi,

Per Jim, the amps will run el34, kt66, kt88, and 6l6 , 6bg6 only.  But Jim said that the best sounding tubes for the amps are the 6l6 , 6bg6,and  kt66 as they are well matched for the transformers...
